illustration friday - stitch

This weeks topic for IF is stitch - which makes me think of pretty things like little hankies that people used to carry around with them with their initials stitched into the corner for identification in case the hankie got lost...and if one picked up a lost hankie with initials in the corner would we know who it belonged to? Anyway it is nice to be back into the swing of things after a great holiday time with all the family, I am looking forward to 2008.

Really nice! Such great detail...very rich. And a nice big preview to really enjoy it!

You do such beautiful work and chase children too. I know that feeling (of chasing children).

Very nice! I miss hankies - I used to carry them when I was in Japan. (Paper towel was not popular)
